30 years documenting the now

I started my career as a cameraman and photographer in my hometown of Munich in the late 1980s. As a camera assistant for Bayerischer Rundfunk (German public television) I traveled to news hotspots around the globe. In 1999 I relocated to Rome and began shooting my own productions as well as news and documentaries for ZDF and National Geographic. Later I worked for 13 years in North America, based in Washington, Mexico City and Los Angeles, covering politics, culture and the daily life of two crazy countries, mainly for German and Swiss public TV. Since returning home to Germany I am taking it easier and now work locally on multi-camera productions for Munich’s business, media and cultural scene.
